Travel Fee

 I charge a travel fee depending on the distance of travel and urgency, to cover my time, my technician's time, and vehicle expenses.  Most house calls take more than  90 minutes including prepping for appt., travel, exam, consultation, paperwork, payment, follow-up emails and phone calls, etc.  In the time I come to your appointment, a veterinarian typically will see 4 - 6  appointments in a clinic.  I do charge the  travel fee if you are not home (at the appointment time) or if the appointment is cancelled  with  less than a 24 hour notice.  Please contact me for an estimate of the travel fee -- include your address in the message.
